Crinklechips More Of a Sabbathy vibe on this one. Also 'Hangin' On The Wire' sounds a bit like Farflung. An excellent stoner rock album which hints at how amazing they will become by the release of 'Waiting For The Flood' and the entirely peerless 'One With The Universe' which is blessed by all the gods of rock 'n roll. Truly.
Favorite track: Flipside Apocalypse.
Mr. Omen

Mr. Omen Revelation & Mystery is beautiful. It's refreshing to the ears. Thirsty Moon reminds me of something off a King Crimson record, only heavier. SBE is an ever evolving juggernaut of a band. I recently wrote a review with More Fuzz for the album One with the Universe. It's a masterpiece album! morefuzz.net/reviews/samsara-blues-experiment-one-with-the-universe/ Favorite track: Thirsty Moon.

about

"This album demands your time and attention and pulls you away from any other trivial distraction. At seven songs in nearly an hour it may appear a daunting prospect but such is the quality and variety of the song writing here, with each song passing from movement to movement, the time passes almost imperceptibly. With Black Sabbath now announcing a reformation and new album for 2012 one can’t help but think that maybe, just maybe they’ve been pipped at the post here by SBE, it really is that good... and that worthy!!!"
